WEST HAM LIVE THE LIFE OF A PLAYER | TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By taking part in this prize draw you accept and agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any of these terms and conditions, then you should not take part in the prize draw. It is your responsibility to ensure that you review the current terms and conditions before entering the prize draw. We, JD Sports Fashion plc ("JD Sports"), recommend that you print and store or save a copy of these terms and conditions for future reference during the prize draw.
1. What can you win?
Winners can have a chance to win the following prize (the "Prize"); Winners have a chance to experience the Live the Life of a Player Experience at West Ham with one guest above the age of 18. The prize (the "Prize") includes the following:
- A training session lead by West Ham Academy coaches
- Tour of the Chadwell Heath Training Ground, home of The Academy of Football
- A full training kit
- Video analysis session of your performance
- Food prepared by West Ham United Academy Chefs
Winners will be selected by completing the online sign up form and will receive a confirmation email if they have been selected to attend. Proof of confirmation must be shown on entry to the event. You can only enter once. If you've entered twice your second entry will not be considered. Full details of the event including time & location will be shared via email confirmation if selected to attend.
The Prize is subject to availability and may not be exchanged for a cash value, nor is it transferable. The Prize is subject to winner confirmation (i.e. JD Sports has been able to contact winners and has been able to confirm eligibility). JD Sports has the right to change, alter or withdraw the prize draw or Prize at any time due to any change in any applicable law or any events outside the control of JD Sports. JD Sports shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation or rescheduling of the Prize. If any part of the Prize is not available or claimed JD Sports is under no obligation to supply an alternative prize.
The ticket to the event is not available for sale, transfer, resale, donation, or exchange of any tickets and/or part of any of the prize packages is strictly prohibited (including, without limitation, in person or online via an online auction website or online ticket resale marketplace). JD Sports reserves the right to cancel the comp and withdraw or make void any and all prize elements if this term is not complied with.
What is excluded from the Prize?
It is the winners' responsibility to organise and pay for anything excluded from the Prize including travel to the event unless stated as being provided as part of the prize package.
Who can enter?
Entrants must be aged 18 or over and be a resident in the UK. JD Sports reserves the right to ask the winners and their companion (if applicable) to provide proof of age. Employees (and their immediate family) of the JD Sports (http://www.jdplc.com/our-group/sports-fashion.aspx), or anyone else professionally connected with this prize draw are not eligible to enter the prize draw. JD Sports reserve the right (at its sole discretion) to decide if the eligibility criteria is met. If the eligibility criteria is not met, the entry will be invalid.
2. How to enter
To enter; complete the online sign up form by entering your details. You can only enter the competition once.
3. Opening/Closing Times
The competition will open from 12:00pm on 11.01.2024 to 22:00pm on 17.01.2024. Any entries received after this date and time will not be valid.
4. How are winners selected?
Winners will be selected by completing the online sign up form. We will pick the winners at random. Winners will be contacted on email by 18.01.2024. The winners will be decided by checking entries that meet the eligibility criteria. The decision of JD Sports is final and binding on all entrants. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection of the winners (other than with the winners themselves).
5. Winners' Responsibilities
It is the winners' responsibility to: (i) organise and pay costs for anything excluded from the Prizes; (ii) complete all stages of the How to enter section above; (iii) provide accurate contact details; (iv) provide valid proof of age, which is required to enter the prize draw; (v) adhere to local laws in the UK (vi) comply with any rules, instructions, requirements, terms and conditions or regulations of the event organiser. JD Sports will not be liable to the winners or any other persons where they fail to comply with such responsibilities and any such failure may result in forfeiture of the Prize.
6. Personal information
By ticking the appropriate opt in boxes you agree that you will be opted in to receive regular communication from JD Sports (and its affiliates). 7. Publicity
By taking part in the prize draw, entrants agree to participate in publicity at JD Sports' request if they are a winner of the prize draw. Entrants agree that JD Sports (or any third party nominated by JD Sports) may in its sole discretion use their name, image, any relevant video footage of them and comments relating to the Prize and their experience for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media worldwide without notice and without any fee being paid (including for the avoidance of doubt when responding to any third party).
JD Sports reserves the right to withdraw the Prize (or any part of it) if a winner breaches any of the terms in these terms and conditions or if they are found to have acted in a dishonest or fraudulent manner.
